The CILT Northern Section, in partnership with BECA, proudly hosted Transport Strategy Unpacked: Smarter Roads, Better Investment on Wednesday, 23 April — and what a turnout!
From students and researchers to executive leaders, professors, and board members, this event brought together the full spectrum of our industry to explore how data and benchmarking can lead to smarter transport investment.
The evening was opened with passion and purpose by Ashwin Manalil, who reminded us all why CILT exists – to connect professionals, elevate ideas, and shape the future of transport together.
A special congratulations to Shamsheer Benepal, recipient of the NZTA-sponsored award for outstanding research. Her ability to simplify complex analysis and make it meaningful for the real world was nothing short of exceptional.
