Building transport and logistics infrastructure in Asia – Successful event by Northern Section
CILT and Arup are pleased to have hosted an event on ‘Building transport and logistics infrastructure in Asia’ on 19th November 2019.
It was great to hear the speakers present on a range of topics, from challenges associated with port automation, to the development of bus network in Singapore, and working on public transport in Malaysia.
The four speakers delivered their presentations in a pechakucha format – i.e. no more than 20 slides each and slide automatically transition after 20 seconds. The extra value comes from the panel discussions at the end. The ensuing heating discussion on the future location of Auckland Port is now being looked at for a debating session in the new year.
