Chairman Brief

I have been in the seat as Chairman of this section for 2 months now and getting more understanding of the role and responsibilities of the position. We are well represented with our elected 2014 committee members David Corlett, Chris Gunn, Nick Flack, Ying Xie, Julie Ballantyne, Dennis Robertson, Todd Moyle and Chris Kissling.

This month I attended the Annual Forum, AGM, Awards Dinner and National Council meeting in Wellington. The days forum was well attended and focused on Marine Transport / Promoting Women in the industry. It was an afternoon of enlightening presentations and experiences shared by women in our industry.
