Synlait Dunsandel Site Tour

Hello CILT Members,
Synlait is a relatively young company that started operating from its Dunsandel site in 2008. In that time there has been significant growth on-site in production and distribution capacity, and other infrastructure including a new rail siding in 2021.
Come along and take a tour of a world-class facility and learn more about Synlait from where they’ve come in a short space and where they’re heading.
CILT Southern Section is arranging a bus from the Islington Tavern (670 Main South Road) for those who are interested. Bus to depart the tavern at 3 PM, please select a bus ticket in the ticket option if you are interested.
Timeline:
3:30-3:45 Arrival
3:45-4:00 H&S briefing
4:00-5:30 Site Tour
Notes: The site visit will take around 90 minutes and will involve around a 2 km walk with some stairs. Safety footwear will be required along with Hi-Viz vests – safety glasses are not required.
