Last Mile Delivery – the good, the bad & the ugly

Last Mile Delivery is the critical final step in the supply chain that shapes customer experience and brand success. The University of Auckland Business School, Centre for Supply Chain Management invites CILT Members to join them for this event which will:

About Mark Troughear, Chief Executive Officer, Freightways Group

Mark Troughear is the Chief Executive Officer of the Freightways Group. An NZX50 and ASX listed company, specialising in express logistics with brands such as New Zealand Couriers, Post Haste and Big Chill in NZ and Allied Express in Australia.

With three decades of experience in the transport and logistics sector, Mark brings deep commercial insight and a strong track record in achieving growth through organic means as well as through M&A, operational transformation and strategic leadership.

Mark joined Freightways in 1996 and has held a range of senior leadership roles across the organisation before being appointed CEO in 2018. Under his leadership, Freightways has diversified its service offering, expanded in the Australian market and doubled in size since 2018.
