Following on from last year’s very successful visit to Palmerston North freight hub, CILT Central Section are finalising another great programme for our Freight Insights Industry Visit 2026.

Arrival – PTS Logistics, 31 El Prado Drive Palmerston North, Palmerston North PPE – Please bring your PPE: Hi-vis vest and covered shoes only.

10.30am –11.30am

PTS Logistics presentation by CEO Scott Miers National freight carrier, Heavy Transport and auto distribution Tour of PTS logistic centre

11.30am-12.30pm

Travel to Feildair/Parcelair, 3 Airport Access Road Palmerston North Airport. Lunch break in Fieldair / Parcelair Boardroom

12.30pm –1.55pm

Feildair/Parcelair – Presentation by General Manager Nolan King Feildair operate 24/7 air freight services into and out of Palmerston North airport. A key 24-hour airport in the lower north island which helps handle the majority of New Zealand’s overnight air cargo operations.

2pm-3pm

Palmerston North Airport –Presentation on Palmerston North Airport development by CEO, David Lanham covering development plans, freight operations and its role as the 3rd node in the logistics air freight network. Visit new Freightways facility and the terminal.
