The August Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport breakfast meeting will include the 2020 AGM.
Our guest speakers for this meeting are Associate Dean Dan Taylor and Lead Tutor Matt Mindham from Toi Ohomai’s Logistics Training Centre
Toi Ohomai is dedicated to training work-ready capable graduates for the Logistics and Distribution industry. They are currently developing two of their flagship programmes into one-year Cadetship programmes, the NZ Certificate in Distribution and the NZ Certificate in Commercial Road Transport, both Level 3 qualifications.
With each student being in the workplace whilst studying it provides an opportunity for companies to invest in getting their new and current employees certified with a number of endorsements and a nationally recognised qualification.
Please come along & hear how Dan & Matt are preparing the next generation of logistics professionals in our industry.
There will be an opportunity to provide input and discuss aspects of the course during the presentation.
Additionally, attached is a flyer for the upcoming 2020 Annual CILT Awards event to be held on Wednesday 14th October at the Royal Yacht Squadron building in Auckland.
We encourage our members to submit nominations for the available awards. Details of the awards criteria can be found on the CILT website, www.cilt.co.nz
The charge for the breakfast will be $17.50.
