COVID-19 Local Supply Chain Update [Virtual]
- This event has passed.
An opportunity to hear from local leaders in Logistics and Transport to understand how different companies are preparing for, and dealing with, the impact of Omicron in the South Island.
Tuesday 22nd February 2022 12pm to 1pm
CILT Southern is pleased to announce that we have arranged a forum for members to engage with supply chain leaders talking specifically about local business continuity. Understanding the pressure every business in logistics and transport is under, this forum has been arranged to give you confidence in the work happening elsewhere in the local supply chain.
We are asking the leaders to speak on how they have prepared for, and or are dealing with, the impact of Omicron at their businesses. Subjects will include an overview of their response to the situation, how they are managing their workforce, expected impact on cargo flow and, their view on wider challenges in the supply chain. There will then be an opportunity for Q&A and discussions to complete the session.
This will be an entirely online forum, at lunchtime, and designed with brevity in mind given the known time pressures on all our businesses.
Leaders speaking are as follows:
• David Couper – Warehouse and Logistics Manager – Synlait
• Bronwyn Woodham – H&S and Compliance Advisor – Sorted Logistics
• Simon Munt – General Manager, Container Operations – Lyttelton Port Company
• Kris Lancaster – Supply Chain Development Manager – Foodstuffs South Island
This forum is an open invite to members and non-members. Please register at this link by Friday 18th February to be given access to the forum.
