Webinar – The new port for Auckland – where, when, how and why?

  • This event has passed.

About this event

The need for a larger port in Auckland is widely accepted but questions remain on how, where and when.

Any new port needs to take into account the changing size of ships, increasing demand for coastal shipping / transhipping, environmental and social impacts.

What are the options for a new Auckland port? What is the timeline and what are the actions (legislative, engineering, environmental, planning etc) that need to be taken?

On 23 November 2021 at 7 pm, join (online) CILT Members Mark Oxley, Mick Payze and from Royal HaskoningDHV, Sian John – to review and update the work done to date and hear about the options for a future Auckland port.

This is a follow-up to the well-received August 2020 CILT NZ webinar on the subject, so register right away for this must-attend event. We look forward to seeing you.
